INTRO

A 2ml vape juice pod and a 3000mAh internal battery are included in the Smok RPM 85 Pod Mod Kit. You can enjoy vaping for a very long time with its peak power of 85W. If the battery dies, a Type-C port can be used to recharge it. The pod mod kit is appropriate for vapers who enjoy chasing clouds of vapour. Smok RPM 3 coils come in two sub-ohm options: 0.15 ohm and 0.23 ohm, which can let you enjoy an authentic DTL (Direct to Lung) vaping style while producing a lot of vapour. In addition, there is a kit that is activated by a power button.
The Smok RPM 85 Pod Mod Kit has a 0.96-inch display screen that shows the battery life, wattage, resistance, current, time, and puffs. An up and down button controls the power output from 5-85W, and a rotary air-inlet ring adjusts the airflow.
The 0.15ohm coil vaporises more vapour than the 0.23ohm coil, but due to the sub-ohm number and mesh design, both can quickly create stable and massive clouds. It is recommended to pair with a high VG concentration e-liquid.

DESIGN & STYLE

From the original RPM 40 to RPM 80, RPM 80 Pro, RPM Lite, RPM 160, RPM 2, RPM 2S, RPM 4, RPM 5, and RPM 5 Pro, the RPM family has grown steadily.
The Smok RPM 85 & RPM 100 Kit are two new pod kits that are similar but have a few differences… The main distinction between RPM 85 and RPM 100 is the type of battery. The RPM 85 has a 3000mAh internal battery, whereas the RPM 100 has a single 18650 battery (with adapter) or a 20700/21700 battery. External 18650/20700/21700 batteries are not included with the RPM 100.
Both devices feature a USB Type-C port that can charge at up to 1.5A. They use 5-80W and 5-100W power outputs. The cartridge fills easily from the top and has a maximum capacity of 6.5 ml, as well as two new Mesh Coil RPM 3 to satisfy DL vape enthusiasts. Smok was gracious enough to send me three of the five RPM 85 and RPM 100 colour options. All of them are equally appealing to me.

 

 

SMOK RPM 85 PODS

This is a fantastic mod device for cloud chasing. Even though it only fires up to 100W with the larger RPM 100’s internal battery and 85W with the RPM 85’s external 18650/21700 battery, you get plenty of power that produces fantastic vapour and flavour. Granted, there have been leaks with Smok tanks and pods in the past, but it doesn’t appear to be an issue with these RPM 3 pods while we tested them. They’re both simple-to-use devices with a variety of coil resistances that you can fine-tune with the airflow dial to maximise performance. It all comes down to whether you prefer a large internal battery mod or an external 18650/21700 battery mod.

VERDICT

The Vaping test was especially enjoyable and profitable for me because of the proper airflow regulation. The rotating wheel is large and comfortable, with a double-knurled profile for a good finger grip. The infinite type rotation is precise and well braked, allowing the two large opposing slots measuring 9.5×3.5mm each to be choked perfectly and without draughts.
