Latest Product of Review Geekvape L200

INTRO

The newest kit from the long-established, well-liked company Geekvape is the Aegis Legend 2 (or L200) kit. Since they’ve produced several excellent goods throughout the years, the majority of vapers are already familiar with them. There are too many to mention here, but altogether they are a very strong and trustworthy firm. The L200 is the most recent in a long series of Aegis devices that began with the original Legend, which was among the first, if not the first, IP67 water- and shock-resistant vape mod.
There have been several items in that series since then, the most current being the Aegis Legend and Aegis X modifications and the Aegis pod line. The L200 and the original Legend are quite similar, however, the L200 is more durable because of its new IP68 rating. It is a dual-18650 battery-powered 200-watt mod that is packaged with the Z sub-ohm tank.

BUILD QUALITY & DESIGN

The L200 does a fantastic job of resembling its forebears. There is definitely some heaviness to it; it is neatly constructed and feels sturdy, not cheap or fragile. The fire button is a rectangle with a little taper on top that is located on the front of the mod, like most of the others. The up and down arrows are located below the screen.
Here, there are primarily two distinctions. First, you may entirely lock the mod without turning it off by sliding up and down a button on the left side of the mod. That is incredibly helpful for safety. The charging is now USB-C and is now situated above the screen, below the rubber plug, which is another distinction. It actually fits in with the mod. It looks so elegant that no one would ever guess that it has a USB port below it.

The L200 has a large, simple-to-read 1.08-inch colour screen. It looks fantastic and is bright and clear. Although it’s not particularly compact, it is smaller than the Legend and rather compact for a tough dual-18650 mod. The 510 pin is excellent and I had no problems using it with any atomizer. The included tank, which has a base diameter of slightly more than 24 mm, does, however, protrude slightly over the mod’s platform, which is slightly larger than 22 mm (even though the widest part of the mod is around 26 mm). That slightly irritated me. The tanks that come with mods often match and suit them nicely, however, this tank seems a little huge for the mod. Since the tank has been available for some time, I can understand why they chose to keep it rather than scale it down to better fit the mod.

FUNCTIONS

All of the features seen on Aegis modifications throughout the previous few years are present in the L200 mod. Everything you require, nothing new. The available modes include Power mode (watts), Temp control mode for Ni200, Ti, SS, and TCR, Bypass, and VPC (power curve mode). Everything we need in a controlled mod is present, yet nothing showy or overwhelming.

  • Five clicks of the fire button to turn it on and off.
  • Three clicks to enter menu mode.
  • Use up and down in menu mode to cycle through modes (press fire to accept.)
  • After selecting a mode, you can use up and down to adjust within the mode (press fire to accept.)
  • Hold fire to exit menu mode.
  • Fire and up or fire and down will adjust the screen brightness.
  • The switch on the side locks the mod so it can’t fire or be adjusted.

Overall, quite straightforward and user-friendly with a solid menu. I really adore how simple their menu systems are to use.

GEEKVAPE Z MAX TANK

This Zeus Max tank has an overall height of 55mm and a connector base diameter of 25mm. My tank has a glass tank with a 6 ml capacity, giving it a 32 mm centre diameter. The tank includes a top-adjustable airflow and a 1/4-turn closure that makes filling it simple. The coil is accessible by unscrewing the base, which contains all the safety and manufacturing markings etched on it. The Zeus logo has been etched on both sides of the coil cover, and “Geekvape” has been inscribed on both corners of the top airflow ring, which is detachable. The coil is one of the Z Max tank’s seven components.

The kit comes with 2 kanthal mesh coils.

  • 0.14Ω M Series (Single) Coil 60 to 80w
  • 0.2Ω M Series (Triple) Coil 75 to 85w

With others available to purchase separately. This is a good solid leak-proof tank that has been manufactured well!

VERDICT

Overall, and similar to the other Aegis modifications, I really can’t think of anything wrong with the L200. If you’ve never had one, now would be the time. It’s one of the better lines in terms of customizations. Although the L200 isn’t really novel, it’s still a fantastic modification that anyone would appreciate. The tank itself isn’t all that amazing. But to be fair, most of the tanks that come with kits aren’t. You would thus be better off purchasing the mod alone and a separate tank, as is the case with most kits. Give this one a try for sure if you’re looking for a fresh mod.
