With the Smok G-Priv Pods, you can top off your kit with your preferred e-juice without ever taking the pod out. Turn the top cap while pressing the button to make the filling port visible. These pods work with the TFV18 tiny meshed coils and feature a 2ml e-liquid capacity. Due to the mesh material used to make these coils, heat will be distributed across a larger surface area, enhancing flavor and vapor production.

The bottom-to-top airflow design on this device circulates air via three big apertures, allowing rich vapor to reach your mouth faster than with conventional airflows. Additionally, this device has a sizable fire button that makes using it simple and convenient. The IQ-M chip allows for a 0.001s firing speed with this kit. This device has three operating modes: “power mode,” which delivers the most power; “TC mode,” which modifies your settings to match the coil you’ve selected; and “my mode,” which lets you customize your settings as you see fit. Additionally shielded by eight safety features, this gadget may be swiftly and fully charged with the included 2.0A type-c connection.

DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY

This is a slick bulky mod that does not disappoint in terms of ergonomics, feeling in the hand, and how you navigate through the settings. There is a very likable button firebar on the side of the device, which is easy to press and use. You can grip and fire all in one smooth action and not need to move your hand to tap the button constantly. This is a frequent issue with some vapers! On the other side, you have a nice rubber coating for the other panel, giving the Priv 4 a decent aesthetic look. A sturdy battery door is located at the bottom and it has no trouble securely holding the two 18650 batteries in place. However, it would be wonderful if they made the Priv 4 compatible with the 18700s as well for such a potent mod.

Similar to the previous Priv 3, the screen is wide and easy to read while also providing excellent navigation through a straightforward menu structure. They have lowered the OLED display to one that is 0.4 inches smaller (maybe this was because they had some complaints about the previous model being too big). The lock button on the side of the mod is one of the characteristics that best evokes the feel of a smartphone. This makes the process of going from turning on your device to pressing the fire button so seamless, which is helpful for the Sub-Ohm journey.

 

PERFORMANCE

I adore it so much! I can’t help but believe Smok has gone back to the basics because “big clouds” were kind of their signature, but back in 2017 when I had a kit similar to this, the coils were terrible and unpredictable, but these days Smok’s coils are some of the best and last for years. The TFV18 Mini’s performance is mostly determined by its coils, which are built for high-power vaping and include large wicking ports that quickly saturate the wick:

The recommended power was perfect; while the wattage range of both coils was a useful guide, I had no need to go above or below it because the recommended power produced the best flavor and warmth.

 

TANK & COIL

The TFV18 Mini Tank, which has a 6.5ml juice capacity and an easy top refilling system, is included with the Smok G-Priv 4 Kit. Thanks to three sizable air intake apertures at the bottom that can be adjusted to suit any preference, the airflow from bottom to top are flexible. Three V18 Mini Coils: 0.15, 0.2, and 0.33 are compatible with the TFV18 Mini Tank, although the 0.2 option is not yet included in the kit.

CONCLUSION

Smok Sub-Ohm vaping is making a strong comeback. The superb combination of low-resistance coils in the TFV18 Mini tank delivers excellent performance, adaptability, and flavor. The touch screen, meanwhile, is a treat for anyone looking for a useful and straightforward vaping tool. DTL vaping couldn’t be simpler or faster thanks to the locking switch, the simple-to-use interface, and my mode set up to make four personalized settings to swap between.

A great build quality, a lovely leather panel that appears to be the style for 2021–2022, and the enormous volumes of vapor you can enjoy from a highly powerful gadget boasting up to 230W are further pluses. The performance and design of Smok’s newest mod, the G-Priv 4, are generally excellent. We have pointed out a few small details that might be improved in the following mod, but overall we are very pleased.
