Review of Latest Product Voopoo Drag Nano 2

INTRO

The Voopoo Drag Nano 2 Pod Kit is a Mouth To Lung (MTL) device with an inbuilt 800mAh rechargeable battery and a refillable but non-replaceable coil pod that operates at 8W to 20W of draw power. The Drag Nano 2 is as little as its name would imply, measuring only 71.5mm x 44mm x 14.2mm. Depending on the colour choice you select, it is made of zinc alloy with either leather or PC side panels. Currently, there are 8 distinct colour choices available. The Drag Nano 2 includes three pre-set power levels: low, medium, and high. You may choose one of these levels by pushing a button, and colourful LEDs will show you which level you’ve chosen. On the front side of the device, a single lever slider control with complete adjustment is used to control airflow. A lanyard chain that fastens to the main body is a part of the package. Each replacement pod holds 2ml of e-liquid, and the package includes both a 0.8ohm and a 1.2ohm pod. The e-liquid level in the pods is easily visible thanks to the top fill design and clear PCTG material used to make the pods.

DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY

The Drag Nano 2 portrays itself as a discreet and portable pod vape, staying true to its name. It is only 68 grammes in weight when the pod is fully filled with e-liquid and is only 72mm tall (with the pod), 44mm broad, and 14.2mm thick. One advantage of choosing one of these over another device is that it is on the smaller side of pod vapes available today. It’s a gadget you can stash away in your pocket until the next time you want to vape. The body is comprised of a glossy silver-finished zinc alloy. Whichever of the 8-panel designs you pick, this will remain the same. These alternatives come in three finishes—three with polycarbonate panels and five with leather panels. DRAG is debossed over one side of the panel of the leather alternatives in big letters, whilst the branding on the PC panels is more subdued. The Nano 2 has shown to be rather durable in my daily use. I’ve dropped it a few times, and while the zinc alloy frame has a few small chips, the overall condition is still decent. After drops, the PC panels still seem like new since they don’t scratch or deteriorate readily. The worst thing I can say about the design is how easily the slick surface on the frame takes up smudges and fingerprints.

PODS

The DN2 uses different pods than the first-generation Nano did. There is no cross-compatibility because they are substantially broader and larger. However, the Nano 2 and Voopoo Vinci pods are compatible with one another. The package contains a 0.8- and a 1.2-cent pod. Since the coils are integrated within the pod, they cannot be changed. Instead, when the flavour starts to burn or taste off, you change the entire pod. The pod fits securely and without wriggling into the device’s top by clicking into place. Conveniently, you can refill the pod without taking it out of the machine. You must first remove the mouthpiece cover in order to expose a rubber plug. To access the fill port, remove the rubber stopper; once there, you can easily fill the pod. The manner the pod is inserted into the apparatus makes the contents visible. The pod is also transparent and tint-free, allowing you to see how much e-liquid is inside without having to remove it.

BATTERY LIFE

With a Type-C connection on the bottom, the Drag Nano 2’s 800mAh battery may be recharged. The battery life is decent, but it really depends on the type of pod you use and the power output setting you vape at. You may use up to three pods while vaping on the lowest setting before recharging. You may anticipate using only around 2 complete pods while vaping at the maximum power setting. You won’t ever be without the Nano 2 for too long thanks to its quick 45-minute wall charger recharge time. Sadly, it doesn’t support pass-through charging, so you can’t use it to vape as it charges.

PERFORMANCE

The draw was considerably too tight on the original Drag Nano, which was one of our criticisms. It required a lot of labour to get it to operate and was challenging to put on. This problem is not present with the Drag Nano 2, and the draw activation is flawless. Despite the tight mouth-to-lung pull, vaping is not difficult. The 0.8-cent capsule has excellent taste. Even at the medium power output level, my e-juices deliver the entire taste profile along with the warm vapour. When the airflow is open, a loose mouth-to-lung draw result, which may be changed by shutting it to a tighter MTL draw. My favoured setting for this pod was medium power. Ejuices with nicotine salt vaporise exceptionally well and don’t have a strong flavour. This pod’s drawback is that it has trouble chain vaping higher VG e-liquids (those 70VG or more). In my perspective, the 1.2 pod is even superior overall. Although significantly less strong, the flavour is still fantastic. The draw is tighter even with the airflow open, and it doesn’t have any difficulties with high VG e-liquids, which is why I prefer this pod more. Chain vaping poses no issues at all. I discovered that the high (white) power level was ideal for this pod. If you find high nic e-juices to be too powerful, nicotine salts of various strengths work incredibly well and you may change the power level.

CONCLUSION

One of the nicest pod vapes I’ve tested recently is the Drag Nano 2. There aren’t really any drawbacks to speak of; I had to seek hard to find them. It performs admirably for the purpose for which it was designed, namely MTL vaping with nic salts. It is a little gadget that you can carry anywhere and still have three power output levels and control over airflow. And even with this degree of customization, it’s still simple to operate.
