INTRO
IVG has long been recognised as one of the top manufacturers of vape juice in the UK. Additionally, they have previously produced some disposable vape pens. The IVG Calipro, on the other hand, sees the branch out with a distinctive design format. IVG’s nicotine salt juice line, which has a 2% (20mg) nicotine level, is used in the 2ml of pre-filled e-liquid that comes with the IVG Calipro (which is TPD compliant). A 580mAh internal battery powers the device, which can deliver up to 600 puffs per disposable. Unlike other disposables, the Calipro has a transparent pod-like mouthpiece that lets you view your juice level. It also employs a 1.2 mesh coil.

DESIGN
It has become fairly rare for something to surprise me on the design front after analysing a steady stream of disposables. I immediately noticed the IVG Calipro when I first laid eyes on it. You can truly see your full juice inside, not because it has a wacky design or odd form factor. The translucent mouthpiece that serves as a juice window on the Calipro gives it the appearance of a pod gadget. When I first started using it, I even believed it to be removable. The majority of disposables employ a pre-soaked cotton wick that is housed inside the product, making it impossible to detect how much juice is still present. As a result, you must continue using the item until it malfunctions, which is difficult to predict after extended use. IVG made a great decision by employing a standard pod-style design with a mesh coil in the middle chamber and visible e-liquid surrounding it. Additionally, they’ve made it such that you can see every last drop, something that pods frequently fail to do. This is undoubtedly aided by the IVG Calipro’s TPD market restriction and 2ml e-liquid capacity. The pre-soaked wick approach appears to be more appropriate for US disposables, which frequently use high-capacity liquid.
PERFORMANCE
The IVG Calipro disposables and their functionality have a lot to recommend them. The window to view your juice level is amazing, as I already noted, and it appears that they have struck the ideal mix between juice capacity and battery performance. It was impressive that the 2ml pre-filled juice and battery lasted for well over 600 puffs for each bar. The Calipro has decent ventilation as well, providing a satisfying MTL draw. They offer a variety of delectable flavours. The pink apple guava and kiwi watermelon were two of my favourites. With the cooling, they are all properly balanced. I would admit, though, that a number of the flavours err on the artificial flavour side and fall short.

FINAL VERDICT
I have to say that today’s flavours weren’t my favourite. It’s not something I typically say about IVG because they are experts at mixing. In terms of my personal expectations, I believe they fell a little short. With a few exceptions, the flavours didn’t seem to complement each other; instead, they clashed. Again, that is solely my view. While some of the concentrates tasted generic and the menthol was tolerable as long as I wasn’t chain vaping, the vapes were all pretty sweet but not sickly. We must keep in mind that I have identified two significant pluses. You’ll be checking the juice-viewable mouthpiece frequently. It develops into a mesmerising habit that makes it easy to see how much is still left to vape. And I just must emphasise the incredible battery performance to wrap up this evaluation. The IVG Calipro will go down in history as the year’s most economical vaporizer.
