INTRO
So, the Rhea from Aspire is a shockproof box mod that has been seen before. Rubber and aluminium made a stunning material combination that provided a durable but comfortable performance. However, the Rhea is slightly reimagined and released with the Huracan tank with the Rhea X Kit.
The Rhea X mod’s use of a single 18650 battery as opposed to the twin 18650 Rhea’s is the most evident distinction between the two Rheas. As always, my review will be based on my testing of this kit as an everyday vaper, just like the majority of people reading it.

DESIGN
The Rhea X box resembles its big brother, which has been extremely well-liked. Making use of tried-and-true designs is a wise choice by the producer. A 510 pin is spring-mounted on the box’s top. Atomizers up to 28mm broad can be used with the Rhea X without worrying about them sticking out the edges. Although most “large” atomizers are double coil and consume a lot of battery power, this is an advantage. The 18650 battery is used by the Rhea X.
IMPRESSIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The Rhea X kit was packaged as a sample and had the traditional Aspire format and colour scheme of white with orange accents. Glossy and embossed colour image of the device is on the kit packaging. On the outside of the packaging are printed kit features, package contents, company information, and social media. The kit’s components are organised neatly on a plastic tray underneath the kit, which is placed on a foam tray with tabs.
Overall, the kit’s ergonomic design and the materials utilised make it feel very comfortable in the hand (Alcantara material and metal). I was shocked to discover that the Rhea X is actually fairly light for a shockproof mod! Naturally, adding an 18650 cell will increase its weight, but the most of the shockproof devices I’ve handled have always had some weight to them because of the stated functionality. I was therefore curious by how Aspire managed to create a light, shockproof mod.
COILS
Huracan Aspire Tank Sincere to say, the Huracan tank resembles other top airflow sub-ohm tanks available on the market. Particularly with the bubble glass in place, it appears meaty and chubby. It is a top-fill tank constructed of stainless steel that has two enormous fill holes on either side that are revealed when the top cap is turned a quarter turn. The top cap has some knurling, but interestingly enough, it’s not where I’d typically grab it to open and close. However, I had no trouble filling or capping the atomizer with the top cap.
Although the stock drip tip is on the tall and bulky side, it is usable and compatible with conventional 810 drip tips. A tapered low profile 810 drip tip would have been my personal preference; it would have given the tank a somewhat different appearance and reduced the distance travelled by the vapour (for maximum flavour). But once more, there was no problem with the stock drip tip.
With the tank base screwing on and off the chamber, the coils are press-fit into the tank. The airflow ring has two cyclops airflow holes as well as full stops on either side. This is a very airy atomizer, thus I had to reduce the airflow by around half to achieve the right warmth and flavour for me.
PERFORMANCE
The inclusion of the Huracan clearomizer is the best feature of the Rhea X kit. Two tanks are on it. The bubble can contain up to 6 ml and the right can hold 4 ml. The air intakes are on top because this is a DL clearomizer (top airflow). With the Huracan, leaks are officially done!
The filling holes are simple to reach. With a quarter turn, the top cap opens. It’s simple to use, and its performance in public won’t let you down. The top cap seal is thick and won’t leak thanks to its great contact with the other parts. The Huracan is unaffected by larger bottles with tips. Filling it up is simple.

SUMMARY
I hope to have adequately described this strong and captivating Kit throughout my review. In conclusion, I would say that I really enjoyed the Aspire Rhea X Kit 100W. Although I had some initial reservations about using a Sub-Ohm Tank with a Mod 18650, those reservations soon vanished when I realised that this Tank/Mod combination with the 0.3 coils is very efficient for those who want to start out by producing RDL clouds. At 35W, this BP-Coil can function flawlessly while consuming relatively little battery power.
For everything else, I was confident because Aspire is always a step ahead. It has developed a very beautiful entry-level 18650 Mod with a great proprietary circuit that is packed with features and easy to use. Impact-resistant, not too bulky, and quite practical describe Rhea X. I like to think of this kit as being appropriate for folks who want to instal an MTL tank, such as the Nautilus, while simultaneously using the Huracan Sub-Ohm Tank, which has exceptional RDL/DL performance.
