Aspire Cloudflask S Product Review

INTRO

The Aspire Cloudflask S is slightly larger but lighter than the original. The weight difference comes from a change in materials, the Aspire Cloudflask S is made from aluminium alloy – the original being stainless steel.

The Aspire Cloudflask S is bigger and lighter than the original, though. The Aspire Cloudflask S weighs more since it is composed of an aluminium alloy rather than stainless steel. You can still choose a leather casing; mine didn’t come with one. A new coil has also been added; I’ll discuss that in a moment. The pod has a capacity of either 5.5ml or the TPD standard 2ml, which I received, depending on where you are in the world. As previously stated, this is a sub-ohm pod kit, and according to Aspire, the new coil’s presence theoretically allows for a limited direct lung vape.

DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY

Since the Aspire Cloudflask S no longer has the “hip flask” appearance, it now more closely resembles a regular billet box design. Design-wise, it appears, shall we say, “utilitarian,” but as you use it more, the more aesthetically appealing it becomes. As you can see, I received the Brushed Brass version, which is a little too blingy for my liking and has a more gold appearance.

I would admit that I enjoy simple contemporary designs, and this one fits the bill. The airflow holes on both sides look fantastic, the silver fire button creates a beautiful contrast, and there are very few logos, which is a big plus in my book. I haven’t used the original, but this one is incredibly lightweight while feeling sufficiently sturdy in the hand.

The 2ml version has a HUGE bung inside that hides the juice levels and looks terrible, despite the fact that the pod is held in tightly by strong magnets. You can surely get it out with patience; I gave up trying to get it out. The leather case version is an option. So far, everything appears to be operating properly. Examine the Aspire Cloudflask S’s vaping performance.

PERFORMANCE

I can’t compare performance because I haven’t used the original. The pre-installed 0.25ohm coil makes this a really airy vape, which I can say right away. In a minute, I’ll analyse the performance of the two coils. Here is a very brief introduction to the Aspire Cloudflask S:

  • Five on/off presses of the fire button
  • Take the pod out and fill it from the bottom
  • Push and pull can replace coils.
  • Press the button to vape.

Even the most averse technophobe can understand it because it is all quite basic. Battery indicator lights for the Aspire Cloudflask S:

  • Green: 3.8V-4.2V (60-100%)
  • Blue: 3.5V-3.8V (30-60%)
  • Red: 3.5V (0-30%)

PROS

  • Great flavour
  • Crazy clouds
  • Contemporary design
  • Lightweight
  • Dead easy to use
  • Incredible battery life

CONS

  • Drinks the juice in 2ml!
  • Bung looks awful – NOT Aspire’s fault!
  • The tiny amount of seepage from the airflow grill
  • Only the 0.25ohm coil included

SUMMARY

Aspire is bound by the absurd TPD 2ml limit, which destroys yet another excellent vape kit. The bung is incredibly HUGE, and because there is so little space within, filling causes juice to blowback. You will need to fill this sub-ohm kit often, which can be VERY unpleasant. Even though it is not the company’s fault, the Aspire Cloudflask S’s vaping experience is undoubtedly ruined.

I would try to find the 5.5ml pods online if I were you since it will save SO MUCH TROUBLE. Other than that and the obvious absence of the 0.6-ohm coil, I’ve enjoyed using it. The flavour is very good, and the clouds are absolutely insane. It’s portable, easy to use, and a pod kit that I’d suggest to both more seasoned vapers and beginner vapers who want to try sub-ohm.
