INTRO

Long-time vapers will recall the original e-cigarettes, sometimes known as cig-a-likes, which were introduced a little over ten years ago and were single-use, leaky, unreliable, and not particularly pleasant. Still, for individuals who were serious about quitting smoking, these were the first vapes that were readily accessible and were sold at gas stations and off-licences. The Elf Bar Cigalike is a newly released, enhanced version of Elf Bar. Similar to the original e-cigarette in appearance but with enhanced flavour, performance, and other features. The Cigalike has somewhat less e-liquid inside than other Elf Bar devices; it has 1.6ml as opposed to the typical 2ml, which equals roughly 400 puffs per Cigalike. Additionally, the nicotine salt content of the disposables is quite high for a nic salt at 17mg (1.7%). Elf Bars, in contrast, typically come in strengths of 0 mg, 10 mg, and/or 20 mg. I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to sample these and share my thoughts with you all. I can’t wait to tell you everything about some unexpected favourites and novel new tastes I’ve discovered.

BUILD QUALITY

Given that cigalikes are all fairly similar and feel the same as they do on the outside, you might not expect to read about build quality in a review of one. The Elf Bar Cigalike, on the other hand, does feature a stainless steel body and has a respectable weight without being overly heavy. This offers very good build quality, and we believe that because of its metal body, it would handle being dropped reasonably well.

 

DESIGN

It is no secret that these gadgets resemble movie set props or are attempting to resemble cigarettes. But apart from creating a fan following of Marilyn Monroe or Don Draper impersonators, this design has a use. The best way to accomplish that goal is to simulate smoking. The cigalike provides exactly this for those who might feel Elf Bars and other comparable disposables don’t have the appealing look they’d prefer. From a distance, this may be mistaken for a cigarette because of its thin body. Additionally, it doesn’t emit as much vapour as an Elf Bar, contributing to the cigarette-like appearance. The design is only flawed by being too long, nearly unusably so. Having a battery inside makes it somewhat hefty to hold in your mouth like a cigarette, but this is a necessary evil.

 

BATTERY PERFORMANCE AND NO OF PUFFS

Given that I smoke quite a bit, the battery lasted 6.5 hours, which is longer than I had anticipated. Even while power did start to wane in the last half hour or so and the coil was having trouble keeping up with wicking needs, overall flavour and vapour production were good the entire time. Therefore, I predict that you’ll receive 450–500 puffs from the disposable Elf Bar Cigalikes. If you’re a novice or occasional vaper, the device should last one to two days.

VERDICT

With these disposables, I had a great MTL vape. Perhaps the finest of the year for me! Although some could argue that it’s overly restrictive, I found just what I needed. particularly from a machine intended to resemble a cigarette. Elf Bar did a fantastic job. Another advantage was that the flavour was stronger than I had anticipated. Although I must admit that not all of them were to my taste, that is beside the point. They engage the audience more than many conventional disposable vapes do. In terms of emulation, vapour creation is also identical to the genuine thing. Right on the mark. Very discrete and stealthy. If memory serves, the Elf Bar Cigalike is roughly the same size as a “Superking.” Although it makes me feel uncomfortable to admit it, I have also caught myself holding the disposable as a cigarette. The extra weight may be the sole drawback, but the Cigalike has you covered in terms of portability and affordability. I’d be amazed if these don’t go on to sell by the vape load because Elf Bar has just provided the struggling smoker with a desperately needed lifeline!
