The Eleaf iStick Power Mono is the most ergonomic mod because of its cylindrical, tube-like form factor and its compact proportions, which are amazing considering the Mod’s great and generous 3,500mAh battery! Additionally, iStick Power Mono is now included in Eleaf’s smart vaping kits. The Mod Power Mono offers comfort thanks to its ergonomic design and plush leather exterior, and it also has the power to produce flavorful, dense clouds at 80W. The GTL Pod Tank, which employs the upgraded Mesh Power Coils GTL Black series and is compatible with all other GTL Coils, is really paired with the Mod.

APPEARANCE

The Pico Le and iSOLO AIR 2 are two more recent iStick devices that resemble the iStick Power Mono in terms of appearance. In fact, it resembles the AIR 2’s older sibling. On the back of the mod is a gorgeous leatherette panel, and it has a sleek-looking matte aluminium finish. The panel is not only gorgeous but also really cosy to grip. The words “Eleaf” and “iPower Solo” are written in cursive on either side of the screen, which gives the design a refined touch. Although the Mono isn’t as compact as a pen, it is still small enough to fit in your hand without being uncomfortable.

The fire button, screen, wattage adjustment buttons, and USB-C charge port are all located on the front of the gadget. There are no fancy features and the screen is plain. This might be a drawback to some, but I like it. The kit’s included tank is the GTL pod tank, which is also included with the Pico Le, Power 2, and T80 GTL. So even though the tank is nothing new, why alter what is successful? Added on top of the Solo mod, it looks stylish.

 

PERFORMANCE

Two coils, a 0.8ohm (12-18w) and a 0.4ohm, are included with the Mono (20-30w). I use this mod as an MTL device because I like my DL kits to smoke at approximately 50 watts. I did try a different tank to check how it performed at a higher wattage, but I’ll get to that later. Bar Juice 5000 White Peach Razz was the liquor of choice for this mod.

This product has a long shelf life as an MTL vape. The flavour is excellent, and it vapes really smoothly. However, I was aware of this since I had previously utilised GTL coils in the iJust D20. For an MTL, it created a nice amount of vapour when I ran the power at 14 watts. If it’s still too early, you can purchase higher resistance (1.2 ohms) coils if you prefer a tighter pull or you can increase the airflow in the tank. The screen’s simplicity makes the gadget incredibly user-friendly. Set the wattage, press up and down simultaneously to lock it, and then move. There aren’t any complicated settings or modes to worry about, and it’s convenient.

I attached my VOOPOO MAAT tank to this kit and vaped it at my typical 50 watts to evaluate the DL capability of the device. Despite my heavy vaping, the battery lasted me around a day. One advantage of working for a vape business is. The simplicity of the kit is a major factor in how wonderful this mod is. A less confusing screen also means that your battery won’t have to work as hard to power it. If you’re a higher-powered DL vaper, you can just buy the mod and instal your own tank, however, I would have preferred to see a less resistive GTL coil released with the new kit.

CONCLUSION

It’s been good to catch up with Eleaf and Joyetech’s current selection since they produced some of the first “real” kits I ever acquired. The 3500mAh battery capacity offered by the Eleaf iStick Power Mono kit particularly impresses me. The GTL coils utilised in the included GTL Pod tank are fantastic little performers as well. Because inexperienced vapers frequently mishandle the batteries carelessly, I’m sometimes hesitant to recommend kits with removable batteries to them (or some experienced vapers I know for that matter). However, I’d be pleased to recommend this because the internal battery solves that issue.
