INTRO
The most recent modification from Uwell is the Valyrian 3 Kit, which comes with both the Valyrian 3 mod and the Valyrian 3 tank. While I do appreciate a few aspects of this kit, there are unfortunately more that I don’t. In terms of the design, they made some dubious decisions, all of which I’ll discuss in this review. Before we do that, let’s go through the approximate price of the kit in case you decide to purchase it after reading this.

PACKAGING AND DESIGN
The Valyrian kit includes the Valyrian 3 tank, an additional 0.32-ohm coil, some extra O-rings, and the user manual. It is a dual 18650 powered mod. Although I believe the design is very cool, I’m not overly fond of it. Given the softness of the faux leather and how pleasant it feels in your hand when held in the palm, it is undoubtedly unusual and feels great to grasp.
This design has a bottom clasp where you insert the batteries that I don’t like. Since you frequently put the mod on that bottom door and I’ve seen far too many occasions where they become loose and even stop closing properly, I’ve never been a fan of this design. Due to safety concerns, the battery compartment is one of the most crucial components to get correctly, thus when I see such awful design decisions on mods like this, it truly irritates me.
The centre of the 510 pins on the top makes it possible to instal a 28mm atomizer pretty easily. Another interesting feature of the design is that when you click the fire button to vape, the side that is opposite the screen lights up. It’s possible that you were using the device and were unaware of this if you weren’t using it in low light, but it’s still a really great function.
DISPLAY
The display has a wonderful variety of colours, and I discovered that reading the screen is only made simple by the usage of many colours. For this smartphone, the screen is really small. like very little. It’s a massive L here for me because I would have preferred a bigger one. You must use the buttons on the mod to browse the menu because it lacks a touch screen. There is a lot of information on the screen, including:
- Battery level indicators
- Mode
- Wattage
- Voltage
- Coil Resistance
- Puff Counter
- Valyrian Logo
FUNCTIONALITY
There are just two mods for the Valyrian 3: TCR and Power. This isn’t the one for you if you’re seeking a lot of other features. I myself don’t mind this because I just use my mods in regular power mode, but I know many of you enjoy and utilise many of the other features that modern mods typically come with. By simultaneously hitting the “up” and “fire” buttons, you can lock the mod to prevent accidental presses of any of the up or down buttons. Although you won’t be able to change the parameters, you will still be able to launch the mod.
Simply press the “down” button and the “fire” button simultaneously to lock the entire mod, preventing you from pressing any of the buttons, including the fire button. The settings will return to what they were when you first opened the box if you press all three buttons simultaneously to initiate a factory reset. Although it is somewhat small, the fire button’s placement is acceptable. I don’t understand why they didn’t use the mod’s very huge space to enlarge the buttons. Overall, the functionality is not particularly unique. Some of you prefer this, and it’s all really basic things. I’m all for keeping things simple, but keep in mind that you might not like it if you prefer more technical things.
VALYRIAN III TANK
The Valyrian tank looks fantastic, and I adore that it has a 6ml capacity, but regrettably, when you consider the top-fill design, it falls pretty short. You must hit a button that is simple to accidentally click when you don’t mean to open the tank in order to fill it. I understand that pressing a button instead of twisting it off is much easier, but it also increases the likelihood of avoidable mishaps.
For instance, you might grip the tank so you can twist it off if you need to remove the tank from your mod. This could accidentally press the button, opening the tank, and spilling e-liquid all over the place. Admittedly, I haven’t experienced this, but if I continued to use it, I’m sure I would. Additionally, who’s to say that sitting down and standing up won’t accidentally force up that button if you put this in your pocket and have tight pockets?
It might be a reach, but I just have the impression that it will happen. Because they are both being sold separately, which is a good thing if you’re like me and don’t like this style of design, you could just buy the mod and put the tank back on the shelf. There are now four choices for the coils:
- SS316 0.32ohm UN2 Valyrian 3 coil (comes with the kit)
- FeCrAl 0.14ohm Valyrian 3 coil (comes with the kit)
- FeCrAl 0.15ohm Valyrian 2 coil
- FeCrAl 0.16ohm Valyrian 2 coil
PROS
- 6ml of E-Liquid (Tank)
- Simple Menu System
- Comfortable to hold
- USB-C
- Fire button placement
CONS
- Top Fill Button Location (Tank)
- Screen Size
- Button Size
- Battery Door Hinge on Bottom
- No USB cable (although it is recommended to use an external charger to re-charge the batteries)
CONTENT
- 1 x Valyrian III Mod
- 1 x Valyrian III Tank
- 1 x 0.32ohm Valyrian III Coil
- 1 x 0.14ohm Valyrian III Coil
- 1 x Replacement O-Rings

CONCLUSION
Overall, the Valyrian 3 kit is a fantastic new kit to use and is highly evocative of the earlier generation of mods, especially for how straightforward it is to use and how few settings and convoluted menus are required to make it function. However, as you would anticipate it to be less expensive than some other brands with greater features, the price point and size may be the most worrying aspect.
