Product Review of Aspire Flexus Stik

INTRO

The Aspire Flexus Stik Pod Kit, the following model in Aspire’s Flexus line, is a pen-style pod kit with many amazing characteristics, from the tapered drip tip to the enormous 1200mAh battery. Let’s examine the item more closely and go through its specifications! Recently, Aspire has released a number of products that are truly winners, especially in the Flexus line. The Flexus Q came first, followed by the Flexus Blok, and the Flexus Stik is currently available. With a huge 1200mAh battery, adjustable airflow, MTL and RDTL compatibility, and USB Type-C charging, this amazing pen kit is quite the powerhouse. Aspire Flexus Replacement Coils, which are a wonderful pleasure, are also compatible with the device. For MTL & RDTL vaping, the mesh-build coils deliver a thick, flavorful bite while quietly generating a little quantity of vapour.

DESIGN & APPEARANCE

With a tapered drip tip at the top, the Flexus Stik has a cylindrical form (which can be removed for easy cleaning). I got the straightforward and stylish Black finish. With a weight of about 57g when completely constructed, the Stik is very portable and pocket-friendly. The item is a touch slick in the hand due to the polish, so I do wish there was a little more grip. Naturally, this is only a matter of preference. However, the polish can draw fingerprints, so if that’s a deal-breaker for you, you might want to seek somewhere else! Every vaper can discover its ideal draw with the device’s adjustable airflow provided by the pod, which can be rotated into place. Twisting the pod is all it takes to switch between MTL and RDTL. Undoubtedly, this is one of the device’s greatest features. Below the Flexus Stik logo is a USB Type-C charging connection. The setup makes it possible to charge the device while it is upright, which is a convenient approach to prevent leaks, floods, or spitting from occurring in the coils. It’s not the simplest equipment to keep standing up, but the gadget isn’t exactly bottom-heavy. The device’s LED indicator light ring sits at the bottom and is quite bright and noticeable, which is unquestionably an advantage. The light shows the user the battery level: red for less than 30% battery, blue for between 30% and 60% battery, and green for between 60% and 100% capacity. Additionally, the light alerts the user when the power output is modified (more on this later).

PODS & COILS

Strong magnetic fitting secures the Flexus Stik pod into the gadget. And when I say strong, I really mean strong. It appears that Aspire responded and modified this device in response to the shortcomings of their prior versions (namely, the pod connection with the Flexus Q). The pod has a bottom-adjustable airflow opening and a tapered drip tip that can be removed for simple cleaning. Simply twist the pod in position for a looser or tighter pull to adjust your airflow settings. Additionally, it has a bottom-fill port with convenient access for quicker refills. A silicone stopper secures the fill port, a feature that many vapers have criticised in prior models since it tends to cause more leaking. Although the Flexus Stik occasionally leaks from the fill port, this can be fixed with a straightforward dry cotton bud (plus, minor leaking is to be expected from all pod kits).

BATTERY LIFE & PERFORMANCE

With typical use, the Flexus Stik’s powerful 1200mAh battery should last the majority of vapers for at least two full days. It may be recharged using a USB-C cable, which is provided with the kit. I prefer to vape regularly throughout the day because I’m a daily vaper, and the battery lasted me almost two whole days. A vaper who uses the device sparingly may discover that it takes them many days before they need to recharge it. This is a tremendous perk! The battery on this gadget only really has one drawback: it charges at 1A instead of the 2A seen in the majority of pod kits today. The Flexus Stik charges more slowly than other pod kits as a result, and because of the size of the battery, charging can take up to an hour and a half. Overall, the gadget doesn’t suffer much from the 1A charging, although I’m not sure why Aspire made that decision. The performance of this vaporizer is satisfactory. Depending on your airflow setting, it constantly produces outstanding MTL/RDTL clouds and flavour, and the vapour is highly enjoyable. I won’t even attempt to downplay the vape’s performance.

INTERFACE

The Flexus Stik has a very simple user interface, with just a single button for operation and a blinking LED indication light. This makes setting changes simple. Simply push the button three times quickly to switch between power outputs. Either green (high), blue (medium), or red will flash on the light (low). The user handbook included with the kit should be consulted for further details on using the device. The device’s one-button function makes it generally very simple to operate. Additionally, the Flexus Stik has automated inhale activation, so firing doesn’t require you to worry about pressing the bottom button; just inhale into the mouthpiece to vape. This device’s auto-draw is basically faultless; it isn’t extremely sensitive or prone to malfunction, but it always functions as intended. The auto-draw ignites in less than half a second when the airflow is fully opened, giving the coil time to warm up before it ignites. If not for the superb auto-draw activation, my issues with the button location would be much worse.

VERDICT

By no means is the Flexus Stik innovative, and I have a few suggestions for how to make it better. In general, though, the coils deliver fantastic flavour, and the pod is unquestionably an upgrade over the Flexus line. It’s a wonderful beginner kit for people who want to move up to a kit that requires a little bit more upkeep than a pod kit with integrated coils.
