INTRO

These gadgets make no sense. There doesn’t seem to be much of a distinction between them. GoTek S provides a continuous output of 3.7 volts, compared to 3.6 volts for GoTek X. The exteriors appear to be the primary distinction, and they are perfect for vapers who care about their image. Although 650mAh is a common battery capacity for pod systems, it is on the smaller side of the spectrum. According to Aspire, the GoTek S battery can withstand two days of vaping with “absolutely no charge.”

DESIGN

The gadgets come in small, portable boxes; the Gotek S box is almost the same size as a 20-stick pack of cigarettes! The packaging is the same in both cases: the gadget is embossed and coloured on the front, and the kit components and manufacturer information are printed on the box’s outside. The documentation and device accessories are behind plastic trays that pull out from the top of the devices. The refillable Gotek pods are packaged simply in a box, with the pods in blister packs for hygienic and security purposes.

SUMMARY

I still strongly suggest the Gotek family of gadgets and pods to Aspire’s target market group. These are excellent starter packages for switching from disposable to refillable pod systems. Due to the usage of refillable or prefilled pods and the fact that they are so portable, they are incredibly easy to set up and use.
