INTRO
Despite the addition of adjustable output, this gadget is still easy to use. This adjustment is made by rotating a dial on the mod’s base to obtain a high (Red LED) or low (Green LED) output. There is a USB charging port with a 0.8A charge rate and an internal 1800mAh battery. The fire button, which is used to vape, has a coloured LED that shows how much battery life is left and how much power is left.
Unfortunately, the Innokin website is lacking in information, so I downloaded the User Manual, which does provide me with a little more information. There are standard 510 connections on both the mod and the tank, so you can use either of them with other gear. The tank has a screw-off top fill lid and is an improvement over the earlier Prism tanks. The airflow adjustment, which provides a variety of MTL limits, is located at the bottom of the tank. This is T20-S coil compatible, and a new 0.9-ohm Kanthal Mesh coil has been developed.

APPEARANCE
The Apex doesn’t look all that different to vapers who are accustomed to the Endura line. Because the battery size is larger than the T18 series, it is a touch chunkier. Its size is more comparable to the T20-S. The gadget has an understated matte aluminium appearance. I’ve seen the blue version, and Innokin sent us the black version. The matte texture is cosy to handle and has a highly fashionable appearance. The kit’s charging port is a USB-C quick charge port, which is always positive, and it is situated at the bottom of the device. The tank also has push-fit coils, adjustable airflow, and top filling.
PERFORMANCE
The performance of this kit is excellent, but that is nothing new for Innokin. Due to its affordability and dependability, the Endura line has long been a favourite among beginning vapers. When I was working in the store, I observed several vapers using the T18E and only heard positive feedback. Innokin kits, in contrast to most other gadgets, turn on and off with three presses of the fire button. That required some adjustment. The useful battery indicator light changes colour to show you how fully charged the gadget is. At the bottom of the battery is a twistable switch. An LED light on this ring indicates the power settings, which range from low to high. Red denotes low and green denotes high.
The kit includes two coils that have resistances of 0.9 and 0.8 ohms. The two are similar in many ways and both are light in weight. Despite the airflow is adjustable. There are 1.5ohm coils available as an extra purchase for customers who like a tighter draw or novice vapers looking to mimic smoking. This would be perfect as a beginner kit. The 1800mAh battery comfortably lasts a day, which is a respectable amount of time. If you use the 1.5ohm coils, you might even get a full two days out of it.

VERDICT
It had been a while since I had last utilised a tube-style mod, as I had earlier stated. After a week or two of testing the Endura Apex kits, I became acclimated to it. At first, it was a little awkward. I like that the power level indicator is a distinct illuminated ring around the base and that the battery indicator is a separate device with a lighted ring around the fire button. When putting the mod in and out of a pocket or bag, the bottom turn knob won’t be accidentally moved because it is sturdy enough. With the higher ohm coils that were included, the 1800mah battery appeared to have an extremely extended battery life. Anything above approximately.6 ohms, at least in my opinion these days, is a higher ohm coil. It’s amazing to think that in the past, we utilised coils with two and three ohms.
The Apex kits, in my opinion, are attractive and come in a variety of colours that should appeal to most individuals. Some people will undoubtedly enjoy the tank and mod’s matching aesthetic. Since it’s never a good idea to take your eyes off the road, I found myself reaching for the fire button while I was driving and kind of wished that the fire button either protruded a little further or had some sort of texture.
