Product Review of Voopoo Drag H80S

INTRO

The Voopoo Drag H80 S is a thinner, more compact version of the Argus X, thanks to improvements made by Voopoo. The new product is a pod mod that has the same cutting-edge airflow control mechanism as Voopoo’s Drag E60, which we previously reviewed. An 18650 battery is needed for this most recent Voopoo pod mod kit; it is available separately. It features a modern industrial design and comes with two mesh coils, the PNP-T30 (0.3 ohms) and the PNP-T15 (0.15 ohms), as well as the brand-new PNP II POD, which contains 4-5 mL of e-juice. The maximum output of the Voopoo Drag H80S is 80W. To find out more about the features of this pod mod kit, keep reading.

DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY

The construction of both devices is excellent. I got the Coffee edition of the E60, which has a smooth and seductive leather frame, and the Grey Carbon Fiber version of the H80s, which comes with a carbon fiber battery cover. The H80s has two different buttons for +/- and the E60 has one button that can be pressed left or right, but the screens are the same. The two devices have extremely dissimilar forms. Given that it uses a 18650 battery, the H80s is a tall AIO. It is actually slightly taller than the DRAG X while the pod is off, but once the pod is installed, it becomes almost equal in height. But because it is much thinner than the DRAG X, it is generally more compact. The E60, on the other hand, is a box-shaped gadget with a height of just 68 mm (95 mm with the pod tank on.) You might even be able to fit it inside your palm if you have large hands.

PERFORMANCE

The DRAG H80S supports both lower and higher DL vaping and vapes exceptionally effectively. The two coils offered are 0.15ohm and 0.3ohm (max 36w) (max 70w). The packs that they come in have these clearly indicated, which I thought was a really lovely touch. I tested with a coil with a resistance of 0.15 ohm at 50 watts. Zeus Juice Midas was the beverage I chose. This device ignites rapidly, produces a flavor that is consistent throughout the battery life, and delivers. In all honesty, I was unable to tell the new PnP coils from the previous ones. But that’s okay because the older PnP coils were fantastic.

PROS

  • Excellent build quality
  • E60 is compact and lightweight
  • H80s is smaller than the DRAG X
  • Large color screen
  • Redesigned top-fill pod tank
  • Fully adjustable airflow
  • Surprisingly easy to use
  • Great flavor from the 0.15-ohm coil
  • Good performance from the other two coils
  • Great battery life from the E60 (even without activating Eco mode)

CONS

  • Mouthpiece is non-replaceable
  • One 0.15-ohm coil probably short-circuited
  • Eco mode prompt at 40% charge is a bit annoying

VERDICT

As long as you’re not looking for enormous clouds, this DL package is extremely good. Even newer DL vapers will be able to use this kit because it is easy and fulfilling enough to provide a respectable amount of vapor. Because it featured a replaceable battery, I didn’t have to worry about its longevity because I always had backup fully charged batteries available. This kit is quite well made, which is another plus. Bravo, VOOPOO; you’ve done it once more.
