Review of Latest Product Voopoo Find S Kit

INTRO

The VOOPOO Find S Kit is evaluated. Even now, after all these years, we still don’t know who “Gene” is. However, Voopoo has continued to brand every chipset they insert into their mods with his name. most recent? a 120-watt integrated battery gadget with a permanently attached wristband. It’s referred to as the Voopoo Find S. The Find S was a great pain to use, therefore they should have named it after the company’s other popular series. Although this costly mod kit has several commendable traits and features, as you can see below, we couldn’t help but feel let down by it. Let’s see what this review reveals, if anything at all. The specs come first.

DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY

The VooPoo Find mod is highly intriguing at first glance. It has a two-tone paint finish, which I chose red and grey, but you can choose from six different colour schemes. It also has a good texture that greatly enhances grip and a non-removable rubber lanyard that VooPoo refers to as a hand rope. It’s different from all the other mods I’ve previously tried, that much is certain, but the more I messed with it, the more I realised it wasn’t quite up to the standard of VooPoo’s quality.

The Find S is mostly made of plastic, which is a major drawback. In spite of the fact that it is lighter and easier to carry, I still like the solid feel of metal in my hands. Unfortunately, there isn’t much metal on the mod other than the 510 connection at the top and the few metal screws that keep it together. Even the buttons are made of plastic, and although being very durable, they nonetheless feel less expensive than metallic ones.

If you ask me, that hand rope that this vape mod has is kind of strange. It’s too small to be just a strap and too small to fit your entire hand through. I haven’t fully understood what it’s for, and I doubt I ever will. When not in use, you can hold the mod in that position by slipping your thumb or three fingers through it, but what’s the point? To be honest, it kind of looks ridiculous, and the fact that you can’t get rid of it without ripping it off makes it worse.

BATTERY LIFE AND PERFORMANCE

The VooPoo Find S mod has a built-in 4,400mAh battery, as I already said. Unless you intend to use this mod at its maximum power output of 120W, which is not recommended, you shouldn’t worry about running out of juice because it has a respectable capacity for a built-in battery. Additionally, even if you intend to use it to the very maximum, it includes passthrough and fast-charging technology, allowing you to continue using it while it charges.

The VooPoo Find S performs just as well as the renowned Drag in terms of performance, despite the fact that it does not hold the Drag name or even resemble a Drag mod. That shouldn’t come as a surprise considering that it uses the same powerful GENE Fit chip as the Drag 2 mod. Additionally, the firmware is upgradeable, so if the business ever introduces a new feature or if something needs to be fixed, all you have to do is connect it to a PC, follow the on-screen instructions, and you’re done.

I didn’t really tinker with the Find S all that much after realising that it was just the Drag 2 in a less expensive, less remarkable body. Since I had already seen it all, it seemed pointless to go through all the features and modes, and it was a waste of time. It has normal features, like temperature control, changeable curves mode, and wattage mode; I just haven’t tested them all yet.

MENU AND NAVIGATION

I had planned to spend a significant amount of my review of the VooPoo Find S UForce T2 on the menu part, but after briefly scanning the display, I noticed the menu was the same as the VooPoo Drag 2. It is obvious that everything was just moved over to the Find S mod because even the two battery indications on the home screen, which are absurd given that the Find S mod only has a single 4,400mAh battery, are identical to those on the Drag 2.

So, rather than repeating everything I said in my lengthy review of the VooPoo Drag 2, I’ll just point you there if you want more details. I can confirm that it shares the same chip and functionality as the Drag 2, including the unimpressive FIT Mode.

THE TANK

The Find S actually comes bundled with the same tank as the Drag 2 did, the VooPoo UForce T2, which serves as further evidence that it is nothing more than a Drag 2 in disguise (see what I did there?). You receive two coil heads—a 0.2 and a 0.6—but there are many different designs available, and VooPoo is always coming out with new ones. There was no point in going over this tank again since I had discussed it in my evaluation of Drag 2, so if you want to learn more about it, read that review instead. The same was true with the menu system.

SUMMARY

The new Find S mod could have impressed me a lot more if there hadn’t been a VooPoo Drag 2, but as things are right now, it’s basically a less expensive-feeling variation of a legendary vape mod. The Find S doesn’t really provide anything new, save from a peculiar-looking “hand rope,” so it’s difficult for me to suggest it over the Drag 2. I strongly advise you to look into the Drag 2 rather than this plastic upgrade because it feels and looks much better. For the sake of this review, VooPoo sent me the VooPoo Find S directly.
